NOTE: Due to road construction, our WTT events will be moving out to Frank Kenny Road in Orleans next week. The events starting on 2007-Jul-03 and continuing on until construction is complete will be 10km events. Registration will be in the parking lot of the Ecole Secondaire Publique Gisèle-Lalonde - 500 Millennium Bl (at Trim Road). We will keep you informed of any changes! Some like it hot (really, really hot!) whereas others have to abstain from racing or severely limit their output to avoid heat stroke in conditions such as we had this evening (with the Humidex pushing 40°C). The wind was a pleasure on the the way out, but a challenge on the return trip - certainly stronger than the Evironment Canada report indicates for 19:00, judging by the horizontal wind sock! Despite the toughness of the event, two managed to improve upon their previous 2007-WTT personal best - Pippa Lawson mostly so since there were no stops for road-side repairs this week, and Louise Boutin, who has improved in each of the three (WTT/OTT) events which she has ridden so far, despite more difficult weather conditions each time! It was nice to have Chloe back at the WTT's after her accident 3 weeks ago. She's not all mended yet and had to take it easy on the way back due to the concussion she sustained, but we hope that she's back to her normal self soon!
